Case Study – Culture Capture
Leading data, insights and programmatic media company, Pureprofile, has seen consistent and strong growth over the last few years culminating in the recent acquisition of lead generation business Cohort. But with such rapid growth and the inclusion of another company comes the challenge of holding onto and defining the very culture that created the opportunity for such remarkable success. Recently, Pureprofile approached Corporate Edge to help them refine, define and articulate their unique culture using our Culture Capture program.
Over a three-month period, executive leaders worked together to consolidate a culture statement that captures what makes Purperofile what it is. i.e. ‘How we do it here’, and ‘Why we do it that way’. Included in this high level culture statement were the company’s Purpose, Commitment, Priorities, Foundations and Values. These 5 aspects of the Pureprofile culture were then brought to life through an extended document that explored how each of these facets are demonstrated through the day to day actions and focus of leaders and employees at Pureprofile.
The program culminated in a day long launch to all leaders led by CEO Paul Chan and was followed by companywide launch recorded in the Sydney office and shared digitally across the rest of the region. To help facilitate the launch, a range of collateral was developed to help visualise, embed and celebrate the newly articulated culture at Pureprofile.
While the launch was a great success, there are multiple other benefits gained by going through the Culture Capture process:
- The first is an aligned leadership team who take an active ownership for their role in delivering the culture.
- Clarity and Focus for all employees about the types of behaviours that are going to make Pureprofile successful.
- A direction for the development opportunities of existing employees and a guide for the acquisition of new talent
- Lastly, a more engaged workforce who understand and embrace the ‘WHY’ of the organisation
